Microsoft  Excel is an automated version of a paper-based spreadsheet used to store, organize, and manipulate data. Excel allows you to track lists of data and perform mathematical formulas on that data. You can also analyze, sort, filter and share your data.

This workshop covers the basics of working with Excel 2016. Topics to be covered include:

  • The Excel environment
  • Excel mouse shapes (depending on what you want to do, the proper mouse shape will help you work more efficiently)
  • Enter data (how does Excel treat entering a text value vs. a number value?)
  • Manipulate worksheets (how do you rename, insert, delete, or rearrange worksheets?)
  • Formatting (learn how to format a worksheet so that it’s visually appealing; or format it so that specific data is easier to find)
  • Printing (page orientation, margins, header and footers, print titles)

This is a great workshop for anyone new to Excel, or someone who would like a refresher. Please join us!
