Snipping-Tool-Screen-capture-iconScreenshot tool iconBy using the Snipping and Screenshot tools, you can easily capture images of your screen and add the snapshots to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook items. The tools can capture all or part of what you are viewing.

After capturing an image from the Snipping Tool window, you can copy and paste it elsewhere, save the image for future use, or email it. You can also use the Pen and Highlighter tools to add notes to the snip.

The Screenshot Tool allows you to see all active windows (applications, Internet, dialog boxes, error messages, etc.), and add those images wherever your insertion point is placed in the document you are working on. If you require just a part of an active window, you can use the Screen Clipping option to capture only the part you need. Once you have selected an item to capture, it is automatically dropped into the file you were working on when you clicked the command from the Ribbon.

In this training session, we will go over the various ways to capture images using these valuable tools. They are extremely easy to use! Please join us for this session.
