Using the Outlook Calendar is one of the best ways to stay organized – at work, and in your personal life. This training session is jam-packed with various uses which will be beneficial to everyone.

  • Starting with an introduction to the environment, we will move onto navigating and changing the Calendar appearance. Every calendar starts out with default settings that you may want to change. We will cover the options that you have control over.
  • Many of you have access to multiple calendars – we will cover the different ways of viewing those calendars together (side-by-side vs. overlay mode, for example); and how to create groups out of them. You can give the group a logical name, and will be able to open several calendars with the check of a box.
  • You will learn how to grant someone else permission to view your Calendar, and what the various permission levels are. Depending on time, we will also talk about the difference between having access to a calendar vs. managing someone else’s calendar by being their delegate.
  • You will create appointments and meetings. Creating appointments involves scheduling time for yourself. Creating meetings involves sheduling time for others. When the time of a meeting is flexible, you can use the Suggested times section of the “Room Finder” pane to help find an available time that works for everyone invited.

The Calendar has many features that are valuable to everyone. The above, and much more, will be covered in this training session. Seating is limited, so please register today!
