When you want to display information in columns and rows in a Word document, you might use tabs and spaces to line things up. However, trying to create aligned columns in this manner will never work 100% of the time. Using a Word 2013 table is a great way to keep a document organized – information is contained in a cell and can wrap within that cell if it goes beyond the allotted column width.
Tables also add flexibility to the layout of a document. Using tables for lists of data is a common use, however, you are not limited to just straight columns or rows. You can arrange your ideas in any manner and add images and other objects to a cell.
In this training session, the following will be covered:
- The various ways to insert a table into a Word document
- Using the Table Tools tab to enhance the table
- Inserting rows and columns
- Repeating headers
- Applying text and table alignment
- Converting existing text to a table
- Sorting a table
- Apply Accessibility to a table
Please join us to learn about the many ways of working with tables in Word 2013.
