Ektron is a commercial content management system (CMS) for building and maintaining web site/pages. It is the technology powering Maxwell’s main web site www.maxwell.syr.edu. It has a wide variety of built-in tools (server controls) to streamline the editing and publishing of web content. Some of these include:
- News feeds
- Web calendars
- Form creation tools (smartforms and web forms)
- Customizable web URLs (addresses)
