What would you like to do after graduation?
I would really to work with a Supply Chain company, especially in the retail space. Working with data, optimizing operations, and developing business would be something I’m interested in working with.
What are your responsibilities?
I am the production assistant with Maxwell ICT and work with Tom. I am responsible for many single-camera lecture recordings; such as the weekly PARCC Conversations in Conflict and the Executive Education Peer to Peer. I ensure the camera placement is good in the room, the presenter can be heard on a microphone, the camera settings are dialed in for good video, the lights don’t glare on the presentation, and many little things that can get in the way. I copy the video to a network location where it is edited to be uploaded to the school’s YouTube channel. I also help with larger and more complex events as needed.
How do you use technology in your studies?
I’m currently enrolled in courses such as Database Management Systems and Supply Chain Systems where I am learning advance SQL and SAP.
What new technologies are you interested in?
I’m interested in learning about block chains and how can impact supply chain. I’m also interested in logistics and how transportation can be made cost efficient.
